For Mass Transit Providers that struggle to create value through data we created TransiTool a two-sided platform that assists Mass Transit Providers (TPs) to standardize, analyze and publish transport data while providing a passengers app to inform passengers, gather data and offer a seamless connection between TPs and Passengers. More than 73% of Passengers say that they would use Mass Transit frequently if they were more informed. Cities are struggling to measure the use of private cars. Bikes and shared mobility are a solution but Mass Transit can achieve all the sustainable mobility city goals. Moreover, Compliance on transport data management and sharing is pressuring TPs to find ways to create value through shared data. TransiTool enables services for Operators and Passengers through the interaction and exchange of data between them. Passengers retrieve better information on Mass Transit and create data for TPs which analyze them leading service optimization and better information. TransiTool is a web application that provides various features and tools to Mass Transit Providers in order to standardize, manage, analyze and share transport data. TransiTool consists of a network map where all the transport network can be uploaded and visualized. Network map offers edit options to change the network (i.e. create new routes, stations, trips). Network maps visualizes validated GTFS and NETEX transport data. The user can publish transport data on its own publication page and choose whether he wants to download or share this page with third parties like Google Maps or any other map. At the same time, The user can analyze its network and get valid accessibility and other transportation metrics for the existing network. Moreover, TransiTool offers a variety of APIs to connect data to third party apps but also retrieve data from various databases or servers that the user needs.
