This 2.5-hour site visit will take delegates to the south inner city of Dublin to visit the site of St Micheals Estate in Inchicore. St. Michael’s Regeneration team was set up in 2001 to support, advocate, and work with residents during the complexity of regeneration. It comprises of local residents, workers from key local projects, community workers and an academic from TU Dublin. Some of the team have been working in and committed to this area and its regeneration from the start and as a result have amassed a huge amount of experience and knowledge. Delegates on this site visit will hear that story.
