This site visit is a creative workshop that provides a unique opportunity to explore the role of art in communicating stories of place in non-verbal ways. Darndale is a unique social housing estate that at the time of building was an experiment, one that has never been replicated on the island of Ireland. Delegates will be guided by local artist Aileen Malone to look at the area from different perspectives, capture their perceptions using art materials, and have fun while doing so. This event is child friendly. The Workshop takes place in The Bell Building and is accessible on Dublin Bus toute 27 and 15.
