Details
This session will look at various challenging, but not uncommon, clinical scenarios, where thrombocytopaenia or platelet dysfunction has to be carefully managed to avoid unwanted bleeding. Topics will include liver disease, anticoagulation, regional anaesthesia, and managing procedures in patients on antiplatelet agents. The aim is to provide clinicians with the most up to date evidence and in turn, strategies to manage these situations as effectively and safely as possible.
