Details
In this session the BJHaem editor John Barrett and co-chairs Paresh Vyas and Sara El Hoss have selected four presentations of cutting edge research in UK haematology. Two speakers address new research in haematopoietic clonal evolution: the clonality of ageing (Dr Asker Jacobsen) and clonal evolution in AML (Dr Caroline Watson). Dr Deepa Arachchillage will present her recent work on the role of endotheilai dysfunction in thrombosis with particular reference to sickle cell disease. Dr John Brewin will update new discoveries in the genetic complexity underlying diversity and severity in sickle cell disease.
