Dr Eleni Tholouli is a Consultant Haematologist and Director of Adult Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapies at Manchester Royal Infirmary. She received her MD from the University of Frankfurt, Germany and completed her haematology specialist training in Manchester, where she also undertook a PhD at Manchester University, investigating prognostic molecular markers in acute myeloid leukaemia. She then consolidated her transplant experience as a Transplant Fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Research Cancer Centre in Seattle, USA, one of the world’s largest stem cell transplant centres. Her expertise covers a wide range of haemato-oncological malignancies (leukaemia, myeloma and lymphoma) and non-malignant disorders (bone marrow failures and aplastic anaemia). Dr Tholouli was the Director of the Adult Stem Cell and Immunotherapy Unit and Haemato-Oncology Pathway Board at Manchester Cancer 2015-2022. She is an executive member of the BSBMTCT and the Chair of the workforce and ambulatory CAR T provision subgroups. She is a member of the AML steering group and working party, and has authored and co-authored many publications, including manuscripts and book chapters. She has presented at major congresses such as EMBT, BSH and ESMO.

Dr Matt Wells is a Consultant Haematologist at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, specialising in the diagnosis and management of haematological malignancies. He plays a key role in delivering high-quality care for patients undergoing complex therapies, including cellular therapies and lymphoma treatment pathways. Dr Wells is recognised for his collaborative approach, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across the region to optimise patient outcomes and support service development. He is also actively involved in clinical research and service innovation aimed at improving access to advanced therapies.

Dr David Taylor is a Consultant Haematologist at Mersey & West
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, a large district general hospital serving the population of greater Merseyside. He is a general haematologist and is involved in all aspects of malignant and non-malignant haematology, throughout the patient pathway. He is a member of the Cheshire &
Mersey Lymphoma Special Interest Group. In his role as Clinical Director, Dr Taylor works collaboratively with other centres to strengthen working relationships across the region and streamline patient care. He is an advocate for care close to home, whilst also supports seamless transition to tertiary centres for specialist treatments.
