Dr Gandhi is a Consultant Haematologist at Kings College Hospital, London, working in the field of myeloid disorders, with a primary interest in BMF and PNH including cellular therapies and stem cell transplantation. His current academic and research work involve the development and application of ex-vivo expanded T regulatory cells in aplastic anaemia and other auto-immune disorders, genetic characterization and algorithms in diagnosis and manifestation of bone marrow failure disorders and also development of a novel assay to assess telomerase activity.
Dr Talha Munir

Dr Talha Munir is a Consultant Haematologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with specialised expertise in CLL, bone marrow failure syndromes, and rare histiocytic disorders. He graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, in 2002 and completed his early medical training in Pakistan before joining the NHS in 2004. Dr Munir undertook specialist haematology training in Nottingham, completing it in 2012. He earned his PhD from the University of Leeds in 2021, focusing on the mechanisms of action of B cell receptor antagonists in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. His main clinical and research interests centre on CLL, particularly the evaluation of novel targeted therapies. Dr Munir is also a consultant within the PNH National Service in Leeds, managing patients with aplastic anaemia and paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria. In addition, he has a strong interest in the care of adults with histiocytic disorders, including Langerhans cell histiocytosis and Erdheim–Chester disease. He serves as chief investigator for several UK Phase II and III CLL trials and has contributed significantly to expanding the clinical trial portfolio at Leeds. He was recently appointed Deputy Chair of the UK CLL Sub Group, supporting national research and guideline development.

Joanna Large is an Advanced Level Nurse Practitioner and Independent Nurse Prescriber working within the King's College Hospital PNH service, London. In her patient-facing role, she works closely with individuals living with PNH across the care pathway, providing her with a deep understanding of the day-to-day and long-term challenges faced by people with PNH and their families. Joanna brings extensive expertise in PNH and its management, spanning acute complications, long-term therapy optimization, supportive care, and multidisciplinary coordination, and is committed to improving outcomes and experience for patients within the PNH Service.
